Cookie Policy

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.

Visiting the Mighty Claws group of websites with your browser settings adjusted to accept cookies lets us know that you consent to our use of cookies and other technologies to provide you with the best experience we can. You can modify your browser settings to disable cookies but you should be aware that doing so may negatively impact your experience on our websites.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

How do we use cookies?

We use three cookies in our online shop:

  • woocommerce_cart_hash
  • woocommerce_items_in_cart
  • wp_woocommerce_session_

The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and help us know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that we can find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies. If you disable these cookies then the shop functionality will not work as expected.

Additionally we use the following cookies to track the way you navigate our websites:

  • _ga
  • _gid
  • _ga

These cookies provide us with information we can use to identify popular content and evolve our websites to be as relevant as possible. The data we collect is anonymous but includes your IP address. You can disable these cookies and the websites will still function as intended.

And lastly, we use a cookie to remember your decision to close the information bar at the bottom of the screen.

How to control cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
